Walnut Family Festival

Today was the annual Walnut Family Festival. Since so many great things happened, I'll just pick out the highlights:

• During the parade, one of the drums in one of the bands dropped their drumstick. I picked it up and wanted to return it but they left by the time I walked over to where the parade ends. I gave it to a friend who knows somebody who goes to that school.
  
• The Staples booth was giving out free notebooks and folders. The person manning the booth told me one per person. When I said thank you, she said something similar to, "Wow! You're the first person to say thank you all day! We've handed out 100's of these and you're the only one who said thank you! Take another one!"
  
• We saw magic tricks by Matt Jarman. Really amazing :)
• Got lots of free stuff including inflatable balls, candy, these squishy star things and more :)
